For Aunt Jenny's 27th birthday we celebrated by going to Bonsai for dinner! It is a family favorite. Jaxon loved practicing with chopsticks, and Joss loved shoving every piece of food in site in her mouth.
Grammy brought cars for the boys to play with and bracelets for Jossy. She hasn't taken them off since, including to sleep or to bathe.

P.S. I will tack on wasabi to the list of crazy things Josselyn loves to eat. Didn't even bat an eye, just dipped her chopstick in the wasabi, pulled out a chunk and licked it off. Crazy girl!

Saturday morning Ninny and Papa took Jax and Joss to the cabin for the night so we could go on an adults only trip to Lava Hot Springs. It was so much fun! We went on water slides, floated down the river, and sat in the scalding hot pools. It was such a fabulous relaxing trip!
Matt and Jason dove off the 37 ft high dives and proudly wore their " I survived the high dive" wrist bands. Jenny and i were so proud of them :)
Besides Jenny getting stuck in a whirlpool at the bottom of a waterfall and Matthew having to swim upstream with all his strength to rescue her... we all had a great time ;)

Joss has jumped right past the temper tantrum stage and into guilt tripping. Now if she isn't pleased with something I ask her to do she gets a pouty lip and says "you making my saaaaad!"
"Joss it's time to go to bed." "Joss, finish your waffle."  "Joss, clean up your toys." "Joss let's comb your hair." "Joss lets go potty."

Every time, I get the same response. "You making my sad!"

"Well, I'm sorry I'm making you sad, Joss, but you still need to go to bed!"

After she told me I was making her sad today, Jaxon said to me, "mom, Joss loves you, don't make her sad."

Well, I will try my darndest!

Last night Papa was being honored for his charity work with United Way. They held a dinner at Red Butte Gardens to thank all the volunteers for donating their time and resources to their cause.

Papa told us the kids were invited and it would be a fun place to let them run around in the gardens. Little did we know it was a fancy event and we were the ONLY ones not dressed up, and our kids were the ONLY kids there. Awkward! But we stayed out doors and let the kids run around and apologized for being under dressed. Leave it to a man to leave out a little detail like dress code!

We ended up having a GREAT time and the kids had so much fun splashing in the water ponds. They were soaked. It was a gorgeous night and we got some really cute pictures.

Jax loves to sing "You are my Sunshine, when clouds are grrrraaaaaaaaay. Please don't take my sunshine awayyyyyyy! 
Today he told me "Mom, you are NOT me sunshine!"  Well reeeer to that!
