Too early waking, out the door rushing, chapel crying, monger yelling, cheerio stealing, hallway pacing, loud book reading, loud car vrooming, prayer time screaming, strangers lap sitting, diaper break changing, pew biting, aisle racing, and more hallway pacing. It did melt my heart when Joss said "Happy Birthday baby Jesus!" though Ok, we'll try that again in another 6 months just like clockwork. It may have to boil down to me and Joss being inactive, and Jax and Jason being non members. We'll see how they do next time. I can only handle so much embarrassment. Buuuuuuut, at least we look cute! Over the river and through the woods... 12/27/2009
This Christmas we went to the Webster family cabin. We were on our way there last year when my driving skillz ended us up on the center divider of the freeway, facing oncoming traffic. That was fun. So I spent the day in the hospital and my car spent 8 weeks in the repair shop. This year we decided to try for round 2, and decided to let Jason drive. 2 weeks ago Jason and his dad installed this slide from the top loft down to the family room at the cabin. The kids were in heaven! That is pretty much all they did the entire weekend, up the stairs, down the slide, up the stairs, down the slide. Joss hammers down that thing and goes twice as fast as Jax. He knows how to hold his arms out to slow himself, she just goes for it. This video is right when we arrived, and their first time seeing the slide. Christmas party at Grammy and Grandy's 12/24/2009
Tonight we had our family Christmas party at my moms house. We always have so much fun getting together with all of my step family. They are so fun, and have such darling kids. This year Grammy and Grandy bought all 12 grand kids Unicorn and Horse dress-ups! They are hysterical outfits that you put your feet into and it looks like you are riding on the horse. So funny! The kids got a kick out of it, as did all the adults. Here are some pictures of our fun evening. Thanks for dinner and the cute gifts mom. You did a great job! Asthma sucks! 12/24/2009
Poor Jaxy! (That's what Joss calls him) His asthma has really been acting up this week. Besides his wheezing, I can always tell when he isn't breathing well because his face gets really pale and he gets dark, purple bags under his eyes. He has been wheezing so much and I can hear it rattling deep in his lungs. It has been such crummy weather here in the valley. I am looking forward to going up to the Websters cabin this weekend to get out of this yucky air! He is on nebulizer breathing treatments every 4 hours. Joss gets jealous so she hold up a mask to her face too and sits next to him for all of his treatments. Break it down! 12/23/2009

I was sitting in the rocking chair while the kids played today and I noticed Josselyns' pants were stuffed FULL of toys. (She can barely bend over!) I had my camera on me so I hit record and watched over the next 3 minutes as she shoved every toy she could find down her jammies, and would zip them back up after each one. It was so funny! I could not believe how many things she pulled out of there! I better keep a close eye on this one when I take her to the store with me! Christmas pictures 12/19/2009

Dream feeding! She was so tired but wanted her chicken nuggets so bad. An average evening in our home 12/15/2009
Oh and Miranda... nice artwork! I stumbled upon this during their bath time Sunday night. Very cute. Aunt Miranda's last day in Utah 12/15/2009
Thanks again for coming to Utah to babysit the kids for us. They miss you already and keep saying "Where'd Rana go?" We miss you too. During the day we took the kids to the aquarium. Always a fun activity when it is freezing cold outside. That evening we had a big Browning pizza party with the whole fam to say good bye. Here are some pictures! |
