Why buy toys? 09/29/2008

Why do I bother to buy toys? All they want to play with is tupperware! Jaxon learned how to open the cupboards yesterday. We bought baby proof locks, now we just need to install them. Especially since the cupboard with the poisons and cleaning supplies is 1 door down from the fun cupboard.

Jaxons new favorite thing to do is scoot the trashcan all around the house. He pushes his little walker around and if something is in his way, then it joins the train and gets pushed around too.

Photo shoot 09/25/2008

The twins 1 year old photo shoot.  I can't believe they are 1 a week from today! They grow up way too fast! Amber, thank you for your patience with my children who REFUSED to SMILE!!!!!

Jaxon likes to go really high!

Joss, likes to go medium high. She gets all tense and pinches your hands with her arms so you can't let go of her all the way.

Grandma was cracking the babies up wearing Joss's tutu on her head.

Snowbird babies 09/22/2008

We took the kids up to Snowbird this weekend. It was gorgeous outside. The leaves are changing, the weather is cool and crisp. It was a great afternoon. They loved being out in nature. It also wasn't embarrassing when they screamed since we were outdoors.

Brushing teeth 09/21/2008

I hate to admit that this is the second time I have brushed my kids 5 little teeth. But they loved it so much that I am going to make myself remember to do it every day. Here is a cute picture of them brushing their own teeth.

Pulling everything out of their drawers.
The twins tricks they can do lately are: Say dadda, momma, wave bye bye, blow kisses ( kinda).
Jaxon can say "Darn It!" It doesn't sound like that but that is what he is saying. Joss is a speed crawler now and keeping up with her fast brother. They are both playing really well together. Although,  Jaxon only wants to play with whatever Joss is holding. Joss is pulling herself up now to standing, but still on her tip toes. Jaxon loves playing with the ball and I  have been trying to get him to say ball and dog. They both are working on getting their 5th tooth. Joss handles teething MUCH better than Jaxon.
I hear them when they wake up from their nap laughing and talking to each other through the bars, they are starting to keep eachother entertained.

Fun stuff!!

Joss can stand! Ok, not really, she can lean up against stuff.

Jaxon really can stand. He is almost walking.

I did it!  I slicked her little fringe in the back into 1/4 inch pigtails, I can do ANYTHING!!!

My dog has to pee.

And, my dog has to drink.

I can put up gates, cover outlets, raise all my breakables up high, and lock the cabinets. The only things my kids want to play with are the two things they aren't supposed to. The water dish, and doggy door. Outside the doggy door is 4 wooden steps and a pad of cement. I see Dr bills and stitches in the near future. I need eyes in the back of my head.
