If my thighs could talk, they would plead for mercy. I have thick knots protruding from my lower back, and up and down my spine. This is the pain of a mother trying to teach two toddlers how to do the dreaded *!*!STAIRS*!*! We went up, we went down, repeat, repeat, repeat. "Go get the ball, go get the ball" Up, Up, Up!  "WEEEEEEEE" Down Down Down kerplunk, kerplunk, kerplunk.Repeat Repeat Repeat! "Go backwards, go backwards, don't turn around! WEEEEEEE isn't this Fun? I think my and my mother's (Grammy) back, and thighs will never recover. So all of that hard work and exhaustion paid off right? They've got the stairs down pat? Um, NOPE! Still have no clue! Just want to dive head first down the fun slide if given the opportunity. My stairs are STEEP and I have flashes of broken bones and ambulance rides when I look at them. I hear the sound of the baby gate being jiggled next to the stairs and I come dashing around the corner, flying off the toilet, streaking down the hallway. How long does it take to learn stairs? I can't take the worry anymore!

Dare Devil 01/26/2009

Little dare devil! I was sitting right there next to him and grabbed him off onto steady safe ground... (after I snapped the picture of course)
Jaxon has no fear whatsoever. No matter how many times he bonks his head or gets hurt it still doesn't stop him. He has super-human strength. He has learned how to stick his tiny fingers into the locking mechanism on the child proof baby gate and lift up the pin that securely locks the gate and open it almost silently. He can break out of the play area gate, and hold it down to set Joss free as well. He loves to lift the heaviest toys he can find and throw them backwards over his head. We call him Kal-El (Which is Superman's Krypton name for you non Smallville watchers).

Here is Joss trying to figure out how to pop open the baby gate like her brother.

This is what happens when Daddy works late. Mom gets bored.

Pretty Princess

Mommy promises I will never do that to you again. It was really funny and cute... once. I was just trying to get it out of your system early :) Don't be mad at me when you are older and see these pictures.

We celebrated Grandma's birthday on Wednesday Night and had Famous Daves BBQ take-out. Yum! Then instead of cake, we devoured a few pints of Lemon Cream and Almond Joy Ice cream. The babies were in heaven!
Here are some pictures from last week.

Since our husbands went to the cabin for a boys day yesterday, Jenny and I took our babies to the Aquarium. They had so much fun looking at all the fish. They especially loved the sharks that would swim right up to the window.
I let them get out of the stroller and run around in the play area. The 2 of us had a hard time chasing after 3 babies, but boy did they have fun! We will have to do it again soon. Thanks for coming with us Auntie Jenny and Jase.

Their favorite new toy. Thanks Grandma and papa Webster!

Sparkling whites 01/14/2009

These children LOVE to brush their teeth, to the point of screaming when I take the tooth brushes away. That is how I get them to hold still while I comb their hair in the mornings, I sit them in a little chair in front of the mirror, stick a toothbrush in their mouths and they brush away.

Just some other cute pictures

They LOVE their Grandpa, he came over on Saturday morning and played with them. And, Jossy's first real ponytail!  Grow hair grow!
